How can I connect a Gmail account to the Cold email tool ?

You can easily connect a Gmail account with the useArtemis Cold email tool by SMTP. To do that go to Settings > Email account

Then click on ADD SMTP/IMAP ACCOUNT fill in all the required fields.

From name : This the name your target will see. For exemple "Sam from useArtemis"

From email: This is the email address you want to use. ( [email protected] )

Username: This is also the email address you want to use ( [email protected] )

Password : To securely connect a SMTP account to any app, Google offers a service called 'App password'. This will allows you to connect your account without using your current password but it will create a specific password for the app. You can find how to create an app password here.

SMTP Host: smtp.gmail.com

Port: 465

Messages per day: Max 500

Currently you can only connect the account through SMTP it will soon be possible to connect your account directly through the Google connect button.

Once you've filled all those fields you can click on "Send Test Email". An email will be sent from the account just connected to the email address that you used to register on useArtemis. If everything goes well and you successfully receive the email, you can click on "Save Settings".
